PM Urges Ministry of Education to Focus on Digital Education

PHNOM PENH: Prime Minister Hun Sen urged the Ministry of Education to continue to develop digital education in order to bolster human resources for the current digital revolution. He wants digital technology integrated into curricula at all levels.

Speaking at the closing ceremony for a meeting of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports on 12 April, the Prime Minister advocated for internet-based digital libraries in educational institutions.

The Prime Minister also instructed the Ministry of Education to implement stronger and more modern education programs that keep up with national and international digital progress.

He also encouraged the continued development of the youth volunteer program which serves the community by providing technical training and lessons in soft skills to help people take advantage of job opportunities.
